With a range of a bit over 400km per full charge (for context that's almost a round trip from our dealership to Tofino, and almost two round trips to Victoria), the Bolt EV and EUV are shaping up to be quite the competition for gas-powered vehicles.
For most people, a Bolt's range and charging speed at a level 3 charger is more than enough to get from point A to point B. If you're going on a long trip, a lot of people think charging an EV is inconvenient but the technology is at the tipping point where another 50km*

Automatic Emergency Braking: works to help avoid or reduce the severity of a front-end collision. Cameras are used to automatically brake or enhance the driver's braking.
Following Distance Indicator: displays your following distance in seconds.
Forward Collision Alert: can warn you if it detects a potential front-end collision with a vehicle. Can also provide a tailgating alert if your follow distance is too close.
Front Pedestrian Braking: at speeds below 80 km/h in the daytime, this can help avoid or reduce the severity of a front-end collision with a pedestrian. Provides pedestrian alerts and auto emergency braking or enhances the driver's braking. Limited functionality at night and in low visibility conditions.
Intellibeam® High Beam Assist: at speeds above 40 km/h, can automatically turn on or off high beams depending on surrounding traffic conditions.
Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning: makes a quick steering wheel tug alert you when it detects you are unintentionally drifting out of your lane lines, if needed you may receive additional Lane Departure Warning alerts. System alerts do not occur if the system detects you may be intentionally leaving your lane.
