2024 Chevrolet Equinox in Nanaimo, BC

Chevrolet will not be making any significant changes to the Equinox in 2024. There are two new colours for 2024: Lakeshore Blue and Riptide Blue. Specification for the 2024 Equinox
The Equinox is a value-for-money SUV that gives consumers a lot of car for their money.
Engines
There’s only one engine available across all trim levels. This is Chevrolet's 1.5-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged, dual overhead cam motor. This engine makes 175 horsepower and 203 lb-ft of torque.
The transmission is a 6-speed automatic transmission across all the trims.
The Equinox is easy to drive and has good road manners. This car is no performance machine, but it will keep up with the traffic and provide the driver with accurate steering.
The fuel tank on the Equinox holds 59 litres, and the owner can expect around 600 kilometres on a full tank around town and approximately 750 kilometres on a full tank on a long trip. The Equinox should give 9.7 L/100km around town and 7.9 L/100km on the highway.
Interior
The cabin is styled with comfort in mind, and Chevrolet has used durable materials that will not show their age quickly. Both front and rear passengers should feel comfortable as there is ample head and leg room with plenty of accessories to keep everyone happy. The centre console is a large storage bin for all kinds of things.
The cabin offers cup holders for all seats, but many of the additional luxuries are optional extras on the LS but standard on the RS and Premier trims.
The Equinox has a 60/40 split rear seat that offers an excellent 1,810 litres of cargo space when folded down. There’s a storage compartment under the rear cargo space floor for those special items.
Exterior
The Equinox has a stylish exterior with neatly moulded headlights and daytime running lights, a wide grille, and colour-coded bumpers. A wide range of exterior colours is available, including white, blue, red, black, pearl, and bronze.
The LS is available in the Midnight Edition with a black exterior, black gloss wheels, and a unique black grille and mesh.
The Premier trim also gets a new unique colour package called the Redline edition. This edition includes 19" black wheels with red accents, unique Redline decals, black window surrounds and door handles, and black interior accents.
The LT, RS, and Premier trims all have the "Hit the Road" package that includes roof-rack cross rails and moulded assist steps.
Connectivity and Infotainment
The Chevrolet Infotainment 3 System with a 7" diagonal colour touchscreen is standard equipment on the LS, LT, and RS. The Premier comes with the Infotainment 3 Plus System with navigation and an 8" HD colour touchscreen. This is an option on the LT and RS.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard across the range, as are audio streaming, Bluetooth phone connectivity, and USB ports.
The LT, LS, and RS have a standard audio system, but the Premier has a Bose premium 7-speaker audio system fitted.
Safety and Driver Assistance
The National Highway Transportation Safety Administration awarded the Equinox a 5-star safety rating, its highest crash-test rating.
The Equinox comes with a range of safety features that are standard across all the trims. These include automatic headlights, lane assist, teen driver controls, tire pressure monitoring, emergency braking, pedestrian detection system, following distance monitor, and a rearview camera.
The LS, RS, and Premier have standard blind-spot monitoring, front and rear parking assistance, and rear cross-traffic alert. This is available as an option on the LT. The Premier also adds a high-definition rearview camera.
